Practical questions
Are these all German-language exams?
No. TestDaF assesses German proficiency. TestAS assesses aptitude for undergraduate study, while dMAT serves selected master’s pathways and other provider-defined cases. TestAS can be taken in English or German; current dMAT modules use English.
Which exam do I need?
Check the exact requirements of your university and programme, including the degree level, language of instruction, exam format, module and score. You may need both language evidence and an aptitude result.
Can I prepare with CDI Assessment Group?
Contact us about individual online preparation for TestDaF, TestAS or dMAT. Tell us the format and module you need so we can confirm suitable support; do not assume that every specialist module is covered.
Can I take the exam at your centre?
Please contact us to confirm which German academic exams are currently available at our Alicante centre and which are preparation-only.
How do I register for the exam?
Use the official provider’s registration portal. Available dates, centres, fees, identification requirements and deadlines depend on the examination. Enquiring about preparation with CDI does not register you for an exam.
