Your application journey

From an academic goal to a practical plan.

Each university sets its own requirements. Use these four steps to organise your preparation, and always check the programme’s official instructions.

  1. Define your academic goals

Clarify what you want to study, what you want to develop and how your next qualification fits your plans.

  2. Identify suitable universities

Research programme content, teaching language, entry requirements and practical considerations.

  3. Prepare your application

Gather the requested documents. Plan your CV, motivation statements and references where the programme asks for them.

  4. Review requirements & deadlines

Check accepted language or admission tests, document formats and current dates before submitting your application.

The applicant remains responsible for submitting the application and meeting its requirements; admission decisions belong to each university.

“I started my journey toward graduate school full of doubts. I was considering a Master’s in Health Administration, but with the incredible guidance I received at Centro de Inglés, we figured out that a Management program aligned better with my long-term goals.

From building my resume and selecting universities to editing my essays and preparing for the GRE, the team supported me every step of the way. I scored high on the GRE and was accepted to my dream school—Georgetown University!

Even now, I still reach out to Boris for internship advice and text Vera to review my resume or cover letters. They’ve truly become like family, and I’ve already asked them to help my younger brother with his undergraduate applications. I couldn’t be more grateful.”

“Working with this team was one of the best decisions I made on my journey. From navigating the complexities of Ph.D. applications to perfecting every document, they supported me at every step.

Thanks to their guidance, I was accepted to Rice University with a full scholarship. Today, I’m proud to be part of a cutting-edge engineering team working on a billion-dollar project. It wasn’t easy—but together, we made it happen. Forever grateful.”

Practical questions

Before your next step.

What can CDI help with?

We offer guidance on university and programme selection, application strategy, academic CVs, essays and document planning. Contact us to confirm the support appropriate to your application.

How do I choose a suitable university?

Start with your interests, academic background and goals. Compare programme content and entry requirements, and check the official university information. We can help you organise this choice.

Can I get guidance on CVs and essays?

Yes. We offer guidance on academic CVs, application essays, motivation letters and personal statements. Your writing should reflect your experience and respond to the programme’s instructions.

How do consultations work?

For general guidance, share your plans through Contact and we will discuss an appropriate next step. The specialist Ivy League Expert consultation has its own booking page with current format, price and availability.

What documents should I prepare?

Start with the programme’s official checklist. Depending on the application, this may include academic records, a CV, motivation statements, references or test results. Requirements vary; share the instructions and any drafts you already have with CDI.

Is university admission guaranteed?

No. Counseling helps you prepare and organise your application, but the university makes the admission decision. CDI does not guarantee admission or scholarships.
