2. Language requirements (English)
Almost all programs in English require proof of English proficiency.
Pay attention:
Different universities may have different requirements for exams.

For example, some accept only TOEFL, while others do not accept Duolingo

Minimum scores for each component are often specified (for example, Speaking not lower than 20)

Some programs (especially medical, law) require a high overall score (for example, IELTS 7.0)
Main exams:

Exams are valid — normally for 2 years

Check the website of a specific university — it always indicates what tests are accepted and what score is needed
Knowledge of another language may also be required, depending on the country and language of the program. Almost always the website will indicate which exam and what level is needed.
